Award-winning railway station providing a gateway to the village.
Discover more about the First Prize winner of the Community Rail Awards 2020, Hunmanby Railway Station, where we will have a display of then and now photographs and a 6ft x 6ft 4in North Eastern Railway Tile Map, handmade at the Ironbridge UNESCO World Heritage Site. We also have 300ft Flower borders aimed at encouraging wildlife with edible plants identified! This is a must-see event for those interested in our railway heritage. There will also be a harvest giveaway, with produce donated by Hunmanby Allotment Association, local households and some grown at the village station.

Access
There is full wheelchair access from the road to the station platforms. All areas can be viewed. There are several benches to sit on including one wooden North Eastern Railway bench donated by Northern the train company, when the old 1970's waiting shelter was taken down and kindly restored during the pandemic by John & Monica Bridge. The nearest facilities are the Pot Still Cafe at the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, located a 5-10 minute walk away.
