Together with no.27 the tall frontages with their Doric columned doorcases are a reminder of the prosperity of Beverley during the 1830s, and the fashionable people who chose to live in Highgate.
The curving staircase leads to the upstairs drawing room. The Regency fireplaces in the dining room and drawing room come via architectural salvage from Lairgate, Beverley and Spring Street, Hull. Former owners uncovered Regency grates in the bedrooms.
