Paragon Arcade

Connecting Paragon Street and Carr Lane in the heart of Hull city centre.  Paragon Arcade is a haven for independent traders selling everything from hot food to hair styles, flowers to fashion, bon bons to babywear.

Built in 1861 by Sir Alfred Gelder in the Gothic Revival style, it was listed Grade II in 1994.

Hull based developers Allenby Commercial aquired the building in 2017 and embarked on a major refurbishment. Modernising the ground floor units whilst restoring them to their traditional look and feel, and bringing the neglected first floor into use.

The businesses themselves are complimentary in terms of quality, character and quickiness and they work together as a community.  The arcade now opens seven days a week and adds to Hull's creative and cultural scene with neighbours coming together to present regular late-night shopping events and live performances.

To find out more visit the Allenby Commercial website or better still take a stroll down Paragon Arcade itself and see one of the jewels in Hull city centres crown.
