What is Visit East Yorkshire?


Visit East Yorkshire is part of the tourism partnership in the Hull and East Yorkshire region.

Visit East Yorkshire is responsible for raising destination awareness, increasing visitation and overnight stays, and increasing visitor spend.


Visit East Yorkshire’s activities focusses on the marketing and promotion of the area, development of tourism events, development of tourism product, business support for all tourism businesses, Press and PR, an ambassador/volunteer scheme and developing the area as a top-quality tourism destination.

What does Visit East Yorkshire do?


  • Work with tourism businesses to promote the region as a tourism destination

  • Work with stakeholders and partner organisations to support the development of tourism in East Yorkshire

  • Manage the Visit East Yorkshire website and social media channels to promote tourism in the area

  • Manage several key events in the East Yorkshire area

  • Manage Tourist Information Centres and Tourist Information Points throughout East Yorkshire

  • Work with volunteers/ambassadors to enrich the East Yorkshire visitor welcome.

Our Tourist Information Centres, in Beverley (Treasure House) and Bridlington (Bridlington Spa), offer a wide range of services to help visitors make the most of our beautiful area.


Visitors are always welcome in East Yorkshire, so come and have a chat with the team who will be only too happy to help visitors have a fantastic stay. 


Visit East Yorkshire also has tourist information points at Hornsea and Withernsea, in partnership with Hornsea Folk Museum and Withernsea Lighthouse Museum, with further tourist information available throughout the region.
